Part Time Bookkeeper

Job Description

The Part Time Bookkeeper will independently manage a variety of financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping for the organization. This role involves maintaining detailed financial records, supporting payroll processes, and assisting in tax preparation, primarily using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. The bookkeeper will prepare financial reports as needed and monitor budgets to support sound financial decision-making, all within a flexible part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions accurately
Reconcile bank statements regularly
Track expenses and monitor budgets
Prepare financial reports as needed
Assist with payroll processing
Support tax preparation activities
Maintain organized data entry systems

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of bookkeeping experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounts payable and receivable
Strong financial reporting skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Effective communication skills
