Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting high school and transitioning-aged students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week, 7:30am–3:00pm) from August 18, 2026, to June 2, 2027, making a lasting difference in students’ communication and functional skills. This opportunity centers on supporting learners with complex needs who utilize a variety of assistive technologies to enhance their educational experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Prior experience providing services in a school environment, specifically with high school-aged and transitioning students
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with assistive technology implementation in therapy sessions
• Strong understanding of working with students who have complex communication or developmental needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to create individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services adapted to the unique needs of high school and transitioning students
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy utilizing assistive technology tools for students requiring alternative communication methods
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress and engagement
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, supporting the development of targeted goals and data-driven interventions
• Document services, progress, and compliance with district and state regulations
