Work Environment\n

This remote role is designed to create a balanced work-life dynamic while maintaining the integrity of client care. Our outpatient office setting enables you to engage with clients effectively, offering flexibility in scheduling and an opportunity to collaborate actively with our interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals. You'll work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring ample support for our clients while promoting your own mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and preferences, employing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, promoting a collaborative approach to mental health.

• Continuously monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on collaborative feedback and clinical insights.

• Engage with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, enhancing treatment continuity.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to inform your therapeutic approaches and improve outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to enhance personal and team competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is primarily focused on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse caseload, requiring sensitivity to varied cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Your ability to establish trust and rapport with clients will be critical to their therapeutic success.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
