Accounts Payable Specialist Full Time Novi, MI, US Better Health Market is a dynamic and growing Natural Food Grocery company that is looking for a talented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. We are locally owned and operated and are looking for a dedicated professional to help drive our financial success. This position is based out of our headquarters in Novi, MI and is in person. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in QuickBooks to manage our accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payments using QuickBooks. Process and review invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain accounts payable records, including data entry and transaction processing. Manage and maintain vendor relationships, addressing any discrepancies or issues in a professional manner. Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and account reconciliations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Proven experience using QuickBooks for accounts payable functions. Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
