Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, focusing on their severity, frequency, and duration to gain a thorough understanding of each client's challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and therapeutic needs, fostering a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, highlighting treatment options, and provide guidance on self-care strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on feedback and clinical assessments.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure that all aspects of a client’s mental health are addressed holistically.

• Stay informed about current research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance the therapeutic approach and contribute to clinical excellence.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to promote collaborative care and collective learning among colleagues.

• Advocate for clients, contributing to the destigmatization of mental health issues, and supporting their voices in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a variety of mood-related challenges. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, presenting unique stories and struggles. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies specifically tailored for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A strong foundational understanding of psychopharmacology and its role in treatment, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive client outcomes through the application of tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
