  • Facilitate open communication among supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to discuss each client’s progress and ongoing support networks.

  • Offer a structured schedule of appointments, home visits, and observational sessions that align with clients' needs and treatment plans.

  • Coordinate and execute home visits, including in-home observations, chart reviews, and interviews with involved parties to further inform treatment approaches.

  • Ensure that therapeutic programs are implemented effectively, periodically reviewing and adjusting plans as necessary to promote the best outcomes for clients.

  • Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to provide insights about individual client cases and share successful methodologies.

  • Document and review monthly and quarterly progress notes, tracking client development while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for team members on program implementation and best practices in documentation.
  • \n
  • Provide ongoing support through follow-ups, home engagements, and observational assessments, offering clients a continuity of care.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records to ensure that relevant information is accessible to authorized parties, facilitating proactive interventions.

  • Act as a liaison between the organization and the public, collaborating with the mental health community to advocate for client needs and development goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including both adults and youth, who may be facing issues such as trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. Your role will involve employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health diagnoses, facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to each client’s unique situation.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Maryland.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, with a strong emphasis on client engagement and outcome tracking.

  • A specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care is preferred.
