Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will encompass a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient's condition by reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively communicating evaluation findings and the proposed treatment strategies to both patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that address the unique needs of each patient, adapting as necessary to changes in their condition or feedback.
• Collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate interventions.
• Documenting all patient care activities meticulously, ensuring the accuracy of progress notes, discharge summaries, and planning for follow-up care.
• Managing your schedule efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Engaging in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote our services and foster relationships within the community.
• Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to departmental goals and objectives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily focus on patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative care, and those managing chronic pain. Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
