Location: Columbia Heights

Shift: 1st Shift, 6am to 2:30 pm

Pay: $28-$35/hour

We're seeking a team-oriented, career-driven CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision work and continuous improvement. This role involves both machine setup and daily production , with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and process control.

What You'll Do

Set up, operate, edit, and perform offsets on CNC lathe and milling machines
Read and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, Micro-Vu systems)
Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
Maintain consistent production rates while meeting quality standards
Conduct inspections and document results accurately
Collect SPC data to ensure process control
Perform preventative maintenance to keep machines running optimally

What We're Looking For

Strong math skills (especially machine shop math )
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings
Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience working with tight tolerances
Familiarity with microscopes and inspection equipment
Hands-on experience with CNC setup and troubleshooting
Experience using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time
Willingness and ability to help train others

Nice-to-Have Skills

CNC programming experience (lathe and/or milling)
Experience in medical manufacturing
