We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator with extensive experience using Paycom, conducting payroll audits, and preparing detailed reports. This individual will oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, data accuracy, and compliance while ensuring payroll and employee records are maintained accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and comfortable identifying discrepancies, reconciling data, and improving payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and process biweekly payroll through Paycom, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
• Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposit information.
• Conduct regular payroll audits to identify discrepancies, verify payroll data, reconcile records, and ensure accurate processing.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain payroll reports, including payroll summaries, labor costs, overtime, deductions, benefits contributions, and other employee-related reporting.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
• Manage benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, employee changes, and coordination with benefits providers.
• Utilize Paycom extensively for payroll processing, benefits administration, reporting, auditing, and employee data management.
• Reconcile payroll records with accounting and finance, ensuring accurate reporting and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, year-end reporting, W-2s, and other required documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies, deductions, benefits, and compensation-related questions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, payroll procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll workflows, reporting accuracy, and system efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Paycom is required.
• Strong background in payroll audits, reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience administering employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and deductions.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and benefits compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets and payroll reports.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
• Experience working with accounting or HR teams to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting payroll tax reporting and year-end processes.
• Familiarity with retirement plan administration and benefits vendor coordination.
• Experience identifying payroll discrepancies and implementing process improvements.
