Staff Accountant

Ready to take the next step in your accounting career? A national company is hiring a Staff Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in St. Charles, MO .
In this role, you'll work directly with an experienced Controller and be part of a collaborative accounting team. You'll gain hands-on experience with full cycle accounting, intercompany transactions, month-end close, and audit support while building the skills needed to grow into future accounting opportunities. What You'll Do- Prepare general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations
- Participate in the month-end close process
- Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Complete daily bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual audit preparation
- Support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams as needed
- Help maintain accurate financial records and improve accounting processes
- 2+ years of corporate accounting or shared services experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using an ERP or accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
