This full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional rehabilitative care to a diverse patient population in an onsite rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Franklin Square offers a supportive and collaborative environment for our clinicians and their patients. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources and technologies, ensuring that our therapists can provide the best possible care. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work a Monday to Friday schedule, completing 40 hours per week in a dynamic clinical setting, engaging with patients on a daily basis to facilitate their healing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, techniques, and exercises to improve patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on strategies for managing pain and enhancing mobility, while demonstrating exercises and utilizing functional techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment efficacy and patient satisfaction, sharing insights and best practices to achieve optimal health results.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals, contributing to the organizational objectives through high-quality service and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, neurologic patients requiring specialized rehabilitation strategies, and athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. Your role will involve both direct patient care and indirect support to help these individuals achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with competence in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A strong capacity to build trusting relationships with patients and their families, fostering an environment where patients feel comfortable and motivated.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred, with hands-on capabilities in treating a diverse patient population.
• Demonstrated success in developing patient-centric treatment plans and delivering effective therapeutic care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
