Role Overview
Record natural, expressive Swiss German voice samples that will help train and evaluate a text-to-speech system for an internal customer experience AI agent. This remote, hourly opportunity is suited to voice professionals who can produce clean, consistent audio across a range of scripted content.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality Swiss German voice samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripts.
- Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with strong control of tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
- Maintain a consistent voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions.
- Follow recording requirements for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Complete multiple takes with different emotions, emphasis, and styles when requested.
Qualifications
- Native Swiss German speaker currently based in Switzerland.
- Professional experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, broadcasting, or a related voice-focused role.
- Strong intonation, diction, and emotional range, with the ability to follow scripts precisely while sounding natural.
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet recording environment, and pop filter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recording for text-to-speech, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio-editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to perform multiple vocal styles, including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm deliveries.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
- Reliable availability for 5 to 10 hours per week throughout the project.
Compensation
$50 to $150 per hour.
Eligibility
- You must be comfortable with your voice being cloned solely for the client’s internal CX AI agent.
- Your recordings and cloned voice will not be sold, licensed, or reused for any other product, dataset, or purpose.
