Administrative Assistant

The Operations department of Midlands Technical College is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join their team. Job duties include providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations, maintaining and organizing physical and digital filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality, serving as a professional point of contact by answering and directing phone calls, coordinating meetings and appointments, and supporting daily office functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting students, faculty, and staff with issuing parking stickers and managing vehicle reservations, overseeing the maintenance and readiness of college-controlled vehicles, coordinating the pickup and distribution of departmental mail, and maintaining and overseeing MSDS/SDS documentation to support workplace safety compliance and accessibility. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.

High school diploma and relevant work experience directly related to administrative or office support functions required. An associate degree from an accredited institution may substitute for the required related work experience. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills preferred.
