Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to ascertain clients’ mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that address specific challenges.

• Engage in individual therapy and/or couples therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and individualized techniques that promote personal growth, resilience, and well-being.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical effectiveness, participating in regular staff meetings and individual supervision to receive support and guidance.

• Set and collaboratively refine therapeutic goals with clients, continuously tracking progress to ensure a dynamic treatment approach that adapts to individual needs.

• Offer teletherapy solutions to broaden access for clients who may have transportation hurdles or prefer online services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including adult individuals, couples, and families, focusing on various mental health issues. Your work may involve addressing relationship dynamics, children and adolescent concerns, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health challenges. By understanding the unique needs of each client, you will facilitate healing and empowerment through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Must be fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of New York.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health discipline is preferred.

• Experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.

• Proficient in providing individual and couples therapy through a range of therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $101,000 annually, supplemented by performance-based bonuses.
