Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and psychological needs, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning therapy goals with their specific needs, preferences, and desired outcomes.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage their emotions and improve their coping strategies.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to enhance their overall well-being.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes, adapting to the evolving needs of clients and families.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to promote integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed of recent developments in mood disorder research and therapeutic techniques to continually improve treatment methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families facing challenges related to mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and the complexities of divorce. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
