Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role utilizes telehealth technology to reach and support patients from the comfort of their homes. Flexible working hours primarily occur Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients entering our substance use disorder program to identify their needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans guided by the principles of evidence-based therapy, incorporating modalities such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

• Facilitate regular individual counseling sessions aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by each patient in their recovery journey.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared experiences among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to develop and execute a coordinated care plan for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients during substance-related emergencies, utilizing established protocols to ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction recovery strategies, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster long-term success.

• Ensure all patient records are meticulously documented and maintained in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
