Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,538–$2,657 Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (with possible on/off) Contract duration: Weeks (travel assignment) Shift: 4x10-hour days; some evening hours Start date: 06/15/2026 Work setting: Acute care imaging program within a hospital Housing: Facility-provided housing available (1-bedroom) with restrictions On-call and holidays: Minimal call; some weekend/night coverage; must work 2 of the 3 major holidays Time off: One pre-approved time-off day per contract Responsibilities Perform CT imaging studies including head/brain, chest, abdomen/pelvis, vascular CTA, and enterography for pediatric and adult patients Operate Philips 64-slice Brilliance CT; apply appropriate protocols, perform contrast administration, venipuncture, and monitor patient safety Utilize PACS and Epic for image acquisition, documentation, and reporting workflow; maintain radiation safety practices; apply 3D rendering/MPR as needed Collaborate with radiologists and radiology team to optimize image quality and study accuracy; respond to exam-related questions and adjust protocols accordingly Float to X-ray procedures within scope as required; participate in coverage for ED/ICU/inpatient imaging and outpatient imaging Maintain patient care standards in a Level IV trauma and acute care setting and support continuous quality improvement initiatives Requirements Certifications: ARRT CT certification; BLS required Licensure: Alaska state licensure or eligibility; pending-license submission may be allowed per recruiter guidance (confirm with account manager) Experience: 0 years of experience accepted; travel experience not required Vaccination: Hepatitis B vaccination required; titers or declinations not accepted COVID-19: COVID-19 vaccination not required Skills: Contrast administration/administration setup, venipuncture, CT protocols for head/chest/abdomen-pelvis/CTA, PACS, radiation safety, and 3D/volume rendering Eligibility to work in a high-volume imaging environment and to float within scope; Epic charting proficiency preferred Time-off and scheduling: Willingness to work a 4x10 schedule, occasional evenings, and limited on-call; RTO restrictions apply (one pre-approved day per contract) Benefits and Support Housing assistance: Facility-provided housing (subject to restrictions) or arrangement if needed; typically 1-bedroom; no pet policy; housing may affect stipend eligibility Dedicated support: Assigned account manager/recruiter to guide the assignment and ensure support throughout Scheduling and coverage: On-call requirements with weekend/night coverage; some holiday work as noted Comprehensive onboarding and credentialing support through the assignment Competitive, paid weekly on assignment basis Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
