As a Security Officer Screening Representative in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help screen visitors and staff, monitor access points, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail while helping with security-related protocols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies, helping to support authorized entry and documenting security-related concerns or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through proper communication channels when needed.
• Monitor entry points, credential checks, and screening equipment, helping to identify prohibited items and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or applicable license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
