Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories accurately, ensuring individualized support.

• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating techniques that enhance resilience and well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the specific needs of clients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma experiences and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated and holistic client care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients have immediate access to necessary resources.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and tools for recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical documentation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adult clients facing the challenges of PTSD, complex trauma, and other trauma-related disorders. The clients we serve often require specialized care to address their unique needs and experiences, making your expertise in trauma-informed therapy invaluable. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology obtained from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably in trauma-informed care settings.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm demeanor and poise.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
