Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate clients’ conditions through detailed assessments to identify the severity, duration, and impact of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Individualized Treatment Plans: Collaborate closely with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients navigate their challenges and foster resilience.

• Education & Support: Inform clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and empowerment.

• Monitoring Progress: Continuously assess and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver a cohesive approach to client care.

• Staying Informed: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and techniques in mood disorders to consistently enhance treatment methodologies.

• Documentation: Keep accurate and secure records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to adhere to legal and ethical standards.

• Professional Development: Engage in case consultations and attend team meetings to refine clinical skills and share best practices within the team.

• Advocacy: Serve as a passionate advocate for clients, actively working to reduce stigma around mental health issues and promoting awareness of treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals dealing with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our clinic serves a varied clientele, ensuring that our therapist is well-equipped to address a wide range of challenges faced by different demographics, including young adults, families, and older adults. We emphasize a client-centered approach, valuing the unique experiences and contributions of each person we serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW , LPC , or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology as it relates to mood disorders and mental health treatment.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting enhancing the understanding of diverse populations.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems for efficient client management.

• Strong capability in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
