Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, tailoring your approach based on their unique situations.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans with clients, encompassing their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and wellness.

• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the treatment process and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plans on an ongoing basis.

• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care pathways that address all aspects of client health.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mental health treatment and mood disorders, applying this knowledge to client care and treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
