Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients who wish to address their relationship with alcohol.

• Set your own availability with no minimum hours required, allowing for a personalized work-life balance.

• Receive compensation for late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring you are valued for your time.
\n
• Participate in creating optional “Expert Insights” as a partnership with our Content Manager.
\n
• Engage in leading support groups, providing additional assistance to clients when applicable.
\n
• Manage client referrals and focus your expertise on therapeutic practices while we handle administrative tasks.
\n
• Obtain annual CEU credits, with costs covered by Branches of Growth, to support your ongoing education and professional development.
\n
• Participate in a monthly peer group, if desired, to discuss clinical experiences and learn from colleagues.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse clientele, including individuals seeking moderation strategies or abstinence from alcohol. Many clients may reference community recovery support like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Smart Recovery, and understanding these options will be essential in guiding them. Your approach will encompass evidence-based practices and emphasize a harm-reduction model, respecting clients’ unique recovery journeys and preferences.

Qualifications\n

• Valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in the state of Texas.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.

• Strong background in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Proven ability to demonstrate empathy and strong clinical engagement skills.
\n
• Familiarity with community recovery support options and the ability to integrate these into client care when suitable.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in substance use treatment or mental health counseling.

• Training in techniques like Motivational Interviewing is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
