Benefits ManagerValtir, LLC is seeking a Benefits Manager to join our HR team in our Addison, TX HQ office. This position is responsible for overseeing the employee benefits program of our company. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive benefits package that meets the needs of both the employer and the employees. The Benefits Manager will monitor the various plans and policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company objectives. They will also stay informed of industry changes and new developments to help the business keep up with best practice standards. In addition to leading the Company's benefits programs, the Benefits Manager will partner with payroll stakeholders to review and approve payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The Benefits Manager will serve as the designated payroll operations backup, providing coverage and support to maintain seamless payroll execution.What you'll do:Develop and administer the employee benefits package, including health, life, disability, supplemental and retirement plansMonitor compliance with laws and regulations related to benefitsEstablish and maintain relationships with external vendors and providers and broker and ensure procedures are followed to minimize costsProvide guidance regarding benefits enrollment and utilizationManage day-to-day benefits administration, including billing, enrollment, and changesDesign and execute employee communications relating to benefits and wellness programsMonitor employee eligibility for benefits in accordance with company guidelinesRespond to inquiries, troubleshoot benefit issues, and resolve conflictsReport benefits-related data and trends to senior leadershipAdministers benefits including carrier feeds via ADP. Analyze and review all invoices for a self-funded plan and make appropriate correctionsAssist with benefits annual enrollment process, including updating ADP portal and carrier communicationReconciliation of insurance costs monthly to payroll registersPrepare annual 401k census report for testing, Form 5500 and manage the 401k auditPartner with payroll stakeholders to review and approve payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy and complianceServe as the designated payroll operations backup, providing coverage and support to maintain seamless payroll executionWhat you'll need:5+ years of relevant benefits management experience coordinating with an external brokerProficient w/ADP, ADP Workforce Now a plus401k familiarity including 5500 compliance/reporting and auditsHighly knowledgeable with all aspects of employee benefits programsStrong analytical, organizational, time management, problem solving, and multi-tasking skillsAbility to research and evaluate data to make informed decisionsStrong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsV-lookups and Pivot table experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work on multiple projects concurrently and under a fast-paced environment, initiative and adapt to multi-tasking situationDynamic, proactive and able to work under pressure and deliver results independentlyAbility to critically evaluate issues and troubleshootAbility to cross-train others and collaborate as a valued team memberAssist team members and provide coverage in other areas, as needed
