Required
• Associate's Degree in Accounting or a business related field or five years of payroll experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of spreadsheet, word processing and data entry systems; experience with computerized accounting and recordkeeping systems preferred (MUNIS).
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• No physical or mental restrictions that would, with reasonable accommodation, prevent performance of the essential job functions and responsibilities.
• Ability to adapt to constant and diverse changes in daily job responsibilities.
• Willingness to participate in job related training to improve job skills.

Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a business related field.
• Experience with year-end accounting transactions and preparing for year-end audit.
• Successful experience, including internships, in a school or service agency performing duties that encompass bookkeeping, accounts payable and/or payroll.

Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package. Salary Range $44,124-$74,772.
