Salary Range: $50,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Muskegon that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience with inventory management and cost accounting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
