Work Environment

This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while participating in a telehealth facility that is equipped with the latest technology to enhance client interactions. The work schedule is structured during typical business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and persistence of mood disorders, employing established psychological evaluations and personalized interview techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
• Implement effective therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and proactive self-care strategies to empower their decision-making process.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies based on observed outcomes and feedback to optimize mental health improvements.
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest research and treatment methodologies for mood disorders.
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and experiences to the collective knowledge pool.
• Act as a mental health advocate, promoting understanding and destigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals affected by mood disorders. Our clients range from young adults struggling with anxiety and depression to more seasoned individuals facing challenges related to bipolar disorder. Your empathetic approach will be essential in creating a trusting therapeutic relationship, enabling clients to explore their emotions and work towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches specifically for mood disorders.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists.
• Proven success in delivering treatment outcomes for clients dealing with mood disorders through documented case histories.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and empathize with a diverse range of individuals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is favorable, highlighting the ability to adapt therapeutic interventions in a virtual environment.
• Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration within integrated care settings.

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
