This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans that address the individual needs of patients in the urgent care setting.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory results, to facilitate accurate and timely treatment decisions.
• Triage patient concerns efficiently to manage workflow and reduce wait times, ensuring a steady flow of care and minimizing delays.
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound closures, incision and drainage, and foreign body removals while following best practices and safety protocols.
• Administer digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and IV fluids to patients as necessary, utilizing your expertise to maximize comfort and outcomes.
• Review daily tasks and manage patient callbacks while on duty, enhancing patient relations through excellent communication skills.
• Lead and oversee daily clinical operations, acting as the sole provider, and offering expertise, coaching, and training to advanced practice clinicians on-site.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Island Immediate Care Center, you will serve a varied patient population, contributing to the health and wellness of individuals in an assisted living facility. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients of all ages and medical backgrounds, which adds complexity and richness to your practice.

Qualifications

• A valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with current national certification.
• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), along with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) state license.
• A current, unrestricted medical license to practice in Florida and a controlled substance license, including an active DEA number.
• Proven ability to provide healthcare across the lifespan, demonstrating best practices in a busy clinic environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting.
• Flexibility to work weekends, committing to two full weekends a month as a full-time staff member.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an urgent care, primary care, or emergency department setting strongly preferred.
• Experience with advanced patient assessment techniques and procedures relevant to urgent care.
• Familiarity with the use of electronic health records (EHR) and integration of healthcare technologies in clinical practice.

We offer a competitive salary that ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
