Duration: Contract Pay Rate: Up to $19.50/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview Billing Specialist (Transportation & Logistics) Location: Gainesville, GA (Onsite) Duration: Contract Pay Rate: Up to $19.50/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support transportation and logistics operations by reviewing freight bills, resolving billing discrepancies, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely and accurate customer billing. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in transportation, logistics, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or freight auditing. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze carrier freight bills for accuracy. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and missing documentation. Communicate with internal departments and transportation providers to resolve billing issues. Coordinate with carriers to obtain required documentation for customer invoicing. Ensure timely and accurate customer billing while maintaining quality and service standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline billing processes. Maintain accurate billing records and provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners. Required Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in transportation, logistics, freight billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit, or load planning . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field. Experience working with freight carriers, transportation providers, or logistics operations.
