Company Description Hall County Juvenile Court Role Description The Judicial Law Clerk is a full-time, on-site role located in Gainesville, GA, supporting the Juvenile Court Judges with legal and administrative assistance. This position is responsible for conducting legal research, analyzing case law and statutes, and preparing memoranda, draft orders, and other legal documents for judicial review. The role includes reviewing pleadings and motions, identifying key legal issues, and summarizing complex matters clearly and accurately. The Judicial Law Clerk may assist in court proceedings by organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with court staff and attorneys. The role requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to ethical standards, and timely completion of assignments in a fast-paced judicial environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in law and legal issues, including familiarity with Juvenile law. Proficiency in legal document preparation and drafting clear, well-organized memoranda, orders, and opinions. Advanced analytical skills to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law and apply them to specific fact patterns. Excellent legal research skills, using both traditional sources and online legal research platforms. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and grammar. High level of professionalism, discretion, and adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
