Multiple openings are available, including a co-teaching English Language Arts (ELA) position at the junior high level, as well as a resource role serving students in grades 4 through 6. You'll play a vital role in helping students build confidence, achieve their goals, and access the resources they need to succeed.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching License required
• Active Illinois LBS1 certification is a must
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction in either a co-taught ELA classroom or resource setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement IEP accommodations
• Monitor and document student progress toward educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
• Utilize effective strategies to manage classroom behaviors and promote student engagement
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
