Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life integration while still engaging with a supportive team of professionals. You will operate primarily from an outpatient office setting, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize care for our senior clients. Regular weekly hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring a structured yet adaptable work routine.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify unique mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions, focusing on the emotional challenges that seniors face, such as depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including social workers and medical staff, to devise and implement comprehensive care strategies for geriatric clients.

• Educate family members and caregivers on effective communication strategies and coping mechanisms to enhance emotional support for elderly clients.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, assisting them in navigating end-of-life issues.

• Design and lead cognitive stimulation programs aimed at improving mental acuity and overall cognitive functioning in older adults.

Qualifications\n
