Join our Minneapolis Milk Plant team as an HR Generalist and play a key role in supporting a fast‑paced, unionized manufacturing workforce. This hands‑on role blends talent acquisition, employee support, and HR operations to deliver an exceptional employee experience aligned with our values. You’ll be a trusted partner to plant leadership and employees, helping shape the employee experience while building your HR career in a dynamic and essential industry. What You’ll Do Own full‑cycle recruiting for hourly roles—from sourcing to onboarding Partner with leaders to hire, develop, and retain talent Support payroll, benefits, and leave administration (FMLA/STD) Provide guidance on HR policies, compliance, and employee relations Manage employee records, reporting, and HR transactions Drive a seamless onboarding experience and training support Champion culture, inclusion, and engagement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5 years HR generalist experience (manufacturing preferred) Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO) Strong communication and ability to influence at all levels Experience with HR systems, payroll, and Microsoft Office Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment HR certification (SHRM/HRCI) a plus Benefits Comprehensive Benefits Package available 1st of the month after start date 401(k) with company contribution Competitive pay Paid vacation and holidays Career growth opportunities – we promote from within!
