About This Role The Registered Nurse in Acute Care at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Highlights Pay: $40.00 - $54.12 per hour plus differentials Location: Cortland, NY Facility: Guthrie Cortland Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Day shift Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 for eligible, experienced RNs What You'll Do Perform patient assessments and document accurately per nursing policy. Monitor patients' vital signs and recognize changes in condition. Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products safely. Educate patients and families on care and treatment. Contribute to discharge planning and ensure safe discharge processes. Assist providers with procedures and treatments as needed. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to use medical equipment safely. Participate in emergency preparedness procedures and drills. Document patient care activities in real-time according to policy. Promote professional nursing through participation in committees and quality improvement activities.
