Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Genesis Health Clinic, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with the unique needs of each client.

• Provide consultations to help create pre-crisis and crisis management plans, including positive behavior and medication treatment plans.
\n
• Ensure thorough and timely documentation meets all regulatory standards while utilizing evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement behavior support plans to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Actively engage in the licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.

• Serve as a key liaison to state agencies and community partners, fostering collaborative relationships to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.

• Maintain open communication with all stakeholders to meet organizational standards and promote the mission of Genesis Health Clinic.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending relevant workshops, conferences, and meetings to deepen your expertise and contribute to community efforts.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.

• A valid, independent LMHC license recognized by the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong ability to maintain clinical records and prepare related reports in adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.

• Proven capacity to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team setting, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively express complex ideas.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient clinical settings focusing on mental health care, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, will be highly regarded. Experience engaging in community outreach and developing partnerships within the mental health and social service sectors will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
