Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Behavioral Mental Health & Wellness, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of individuals, groups, couples, and families.
\n
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.

• Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, advocating for their needs throughout the treatment process.

• Participating actively in professional development through workshops and additional training to stay updated with the latest trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals and families with limited access to mental health support. We address a wide variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational challenges. A strong focus on delivering culturally competent care helps us build trust and rapport with our clients, enhancing their treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• At least two years of experience in counseling, ideally within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
\n
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly favored:

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually , commensurate with experience and caseload. Comprehensive benefits include:
