Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of each patient to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals and needs.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions designed to restore function, increase mobility, and improve overall health outcomes.
• Maintain a reasonable patient caseload to ensure quality care and attention to each individual, allowing time for thorough evaluations and follow-ups.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative treatment methodologies to facilitate recovery, focusing on non-surgical approaches whenever possible.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities designed to alleviate pain.
• Educate and motivate patients on exercise programs and wellness initiatives that promote long-term health and fitness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to create a cohesive treatment strategy, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress using EMR software, allowing for data-driven adjustments to treatment plans.
• Promote community wellness by participating in health fairs and educational seminars hosted by Saint Vincent Orthopedic and Sports.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at our rehabilitation center primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. We emphasize a holistic approach and aim to empower our patients through education and engagement, ensuring they have the tools to contribute positively to their own recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Strong understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices and methodologies supported by the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Specialized training or certification in sports therapy or orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.
• A background in community health promotion activities or engagement in public health education.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
