Work Environment

This role is onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific goals.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, utilizing diverse modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to facilitate movement recovery.
• Educate patients on their conditions and empower them through personalized fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as Web PT, to maintain meticulous documentation of each patient's status and treatment interventions.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, chiropractors, and other healthcare staff to coordinate multidisciplinary care and optimize health outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure ongoing improvement and satisfaction.
• Actively participate in team meetings and continuous professional development seminars to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will treat are primarily individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including athletes, weekend warriors, and patients recovering from conditions affecting mobility. You will provide individualized attention, working with them to regain strength, flexibility, and confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy techniques and a strong background in creating effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software like Web PT for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic treatment, ideally within a sports medicine environment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and innovative treatment approaches in physical therapy.
• Strong communication skills to engage with patients and team members effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on your experience and expertise.
