Work Environment

This role is based at our onsite rehabilitation facility in Miramar Beach, a vibrant community known for its stunning oceanfront views and recreational opportunities. You will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and resources to support your practice. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, enhancing muscle function, and maintaining maximal performance within the patient's capabilities, in alignment with their goals.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients by performing diagnostic assessments related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Administering both manual therapeutic exercises and instructing patients in non-manual exercises and essential functional activities to promote independence.
• Utilizing various physical agents, such as traction and massage therapies, to support treatment objectives and enhance patient outcomes.
• Assessing, fitting, and recommending modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians to optimize patient mobility and quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports-related injuries, and degenerative conditions. We serve a diverse patient demographic within the community, primarily adults and active seniors, aimed at restoring their functional abilities and enhancing their daily living skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; however, a Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• Current active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• At least two years of clinical experience in settings such as orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, or outpatient therapy.
• Proficiency in orthopedic assessment methods, treatment techniques, and patient care planning tailored to individual needs.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate documentation and facilitate patient care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, applicants with specialized training in specific orthopedic techniques or certifications, such as in manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
