Work Environment

As an onsite member of our team, you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, in an outpatient setting focused on optimizing recovery and rehabilitation. Our Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM promotes a balanced work-life integration, ensuring that our employees have time to recharge while delivering the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, and range of motion, identifying specific rehabilitation needs.
• Design, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans that address the individual goals and progress of each patient.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manual therapy, targeted therapeutic exercises, and patient-specific functional training to facilitate recovery.
• Leverage modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to enhance treatment outcomes, ensuring they are used appropriately based on patient conditions.
• Educate patients regarding injury prevention, wellness strategies, and customized home exercise programs to promote independent recovery.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage with interdisciplinary team members to foster a collaborative approach to patient care, ensuring comprehensive treatment and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients dealing with conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Your role will involve interacting with a diverse patient population, from active athletes seeking to return to sports to older adults aiming to maintain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred), with valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting or sports rehabilitation environment is required.
• Proven ability to apply manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered interactions.
