Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess and evaluate clients to formulate accurate mental health diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Maintain a caseload of at least 27 client visits per week, ensuring effective therapy delivery and comprehensive documentation in line with company policies.

• Engage in teamwork and collaboration with other clinicians, case managers, and school personnel to optimize client care and service provision.

• Utilize a creative approach in therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients achieve their goals.

• Conduct detailed and timely documentation of each session, including comprehensive clinical notes and treatment plans, in adherence to organizational protocols.

• Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and ongoing training initiatives to enhance clinical skills and contribute to team culture.

• Support the development of a thriving workplace culture that emphasizes collaboration, respect, and positive client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Intermountain Counseling Services, you will work predominantly with children, adolescents, and their families, who face an array of emotional and behavioral challenges. This role demands sensitivity to cultural diversity, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for clients from various backgrounds. The therapist will engage with a diverse client base, adapting therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid LMFT license in California (Los Angeles county preferred) to practice clinical therapy.

• Proven experience in clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively to clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries while fostering a therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Comfort working with a diverse clientele, respecting different cultural perspectives and adapting approaches to suit individual differences.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems, with Valant experience viewed favorably.

• Pass a background check as a condition of employment.
