Job Title : Technical Support Specialist (SCADA) Location : Birmingham, Alabama Work Arrangement : On-site Employment Type : Contract Duration : 6+ Months Domain : Energy / Utilities Pay Rate : $30/hr on W2 Application Deadline : 5 Sept, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Technical/Application Support Windows, AIX/UNIX Distributed Networks Change Management Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery CIP / SOX Compliance Strong Communication & Customer Service Critical Thinking & Problem Solving POSITION OVERVIEW Seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide frontline 24x7x365 monitoring, troubleshooting, and application support for critical Energy Management and SCADA systems. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor SCADA/EMS systems for health and availability. Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate issue resolution. Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery systems. Track and document incidents through resolution. Communicate outages and critical events to stakeholders. Follow Change Management, security, and compliance procedures. Prioritize issues based on operational impact. Work rotating 8/12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
