Head of Growth Marketing

Founding Marketer Location: San Francisco (in-person, in-office, full-time ONLY) Compensation: $150K–$250K base + $25K-$50K cash bonus | Meaningful Equity About Virio Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack. Backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google, we help the fastest-growing B2B companies go to market through executive-led content that drives revenue. We are now looking for a Founding Marketer to own and scale all revenue-driving growth initiatives across marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market systems. What You’ll Do Own the Virio brand. Define our voice, narrative, and category point of view, then express it consistently across our site, content, social, events, and sales materials. We sell executive-led content, so our own brand is the proof. Own product marketing. Develop positioning, messaging, and ICP definition for founders and GTM leaders. Build the story of why Virio wins, translate client outcomes into case studies and proof points, and arm Sales with the narratives that close. Lead launches and category creation. Package new offerings, run go-to-market launches, and shape how the market thinks about AI-native GTM. Build the growth engine on that foundation. Run demand gen, content distribution, paid, SEO, events, and partnerships, all fueled by sharp positioning and a brand people recognize. Define and instrument the funnel from awareness to closed revenue, and be accountable to the numbers. Run fast experiments across channels, messaging, and audiences, and turn results into repeatable playbooks. Own the marketing and rev ops tech stack: tooling, attribution, and data infrastructure. Align closely with Sales Development and AEs to connect inbound and outbound into one cohesive motion built on unified messaging. What Makes You a Great Fit Brand builder. You've shaped a company's voice and narrative from early stage and can point to a brand the market recognizes because of your work. Product marketing depth. Proven ability to craft positioning and messaging that wins competitive deals, with experience in ICP research, launch execution, and sales enablement. Deep marketing and sales expertise. You've owned growth at a high-velocity B2B company with a track record of turning strategy into revenue. Storytelling meets systems. You move fluidly between writing a category narrative and building the attribution model that proves it works. Rev ops and systems fluency. Hands-on experience owning marketing and revenue operations infrastructure, including CRM, attribution, and automation tooling. Multi-channel execution. Proven ability to run and optimize across paid, organic, content, outbound, and event channels simultaneously. PM-adjacent product thinking. You think in experiments, roadmaps, and iteration loops, building growth like a product. Analytics-first mindset. Deeply data-driven, with the ability to build and interpret funnel models, cohort analyses, and attribution frameworks. Early-stage comfort. You've scaled growth in a startup environment where you were simultaneously strategist, builder, and executor. B2B SaaS buyer expertise. Deep understanding of founders and GTM leaders as core buying personas.
