Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, obtaining detailed accounts of patients' trauma histories to inform tailored treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position involves working with individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, veterans, and other marginalized groups. Our objective is to provide these patients with tools and support to navigate their complex emotional landscapes, ultimately leading them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York is necessary.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency with a variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Ability to forge authentic therapeutic relationships, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficient in managing high-stress scenarios with a calm demeanor, effectively supporting patients during critical moments of their therapy journey.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general proficiency in computer applications relevant to telehealth service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
