• Assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold laboratory quality benchmarks.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health-related degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout the duration of employment.
