Hiring Department ERP Project Job Description The ERP Human Resources Partner serves as the dedicated HR liaison and strategic workforce advisor to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program Management Office. This position works closely with ERP leadership, workstream leads, change management resources, campus and system stakeholders, and Office of Human Resources (OHR) teams to support workforce readiness, organizational design, position management, staffing strategies, change impacts, and adoption activities associated with the University's ERP modernization initiative. The position translates ERP business decisions into human capital strategies and helps ensure successful implementation of new processes, technologies, and organizational structures. The HR Partner serves as a trusted advisor to program leadership while maintaining alignment with university HR policies, practices, compensation guidelines, and workforce planning objectives. Dually reporting to the ERP Program Director and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Resources, the role provides high quality, business-focused and strategic advice, guidance, and support to the goals and missions of the program and university-wide HR priorities. Duties include, but are not limited to: ERP Workforce Planning and Organizational Readiness Serve as the primary HR representative supporting the ERP Program Management Office. Partner with ERP leadership to assess workforce implications of program decisions. Conduct organizational readiness assessments and identify people-related risks. Develop workforce transition strategies supporting future-state ERP operations. Assist in identifying staffing, resourcing, and talent needs across ERP workstreams. Provide analysis and recommendations related to organizational design and workforce impacts. Demonstrate strong understanding of HR analytics; uses data to draw meaningful conclusions to drive workforce planning, decision-making, and outcomes. Position Management and Classification Support Collaborate with Human Resources and ERP leadership regarding new positions, revised responsibilities, temporary assignments, and organizational changes associated with the ERP program. Assist with development and review of position descriptions and organizational structures. Coordinate classification, compensation, and staffing requests related to ERP initiatives. Ensure workforce actions align with university compensation philosophy, HR policies, and budgetary requirements. Partner with Recruitment and Compensation regarding hiring, promotions, reassignments, and temporary project assignments. HR Consultation and Stakeholder Support First line conflict resolution and investigations. Counsel leaders on job performance, compliance and university policy/practice matters. Advise leaders on corrective actions based on fact-finding and evaluation of risks associated with specific situations (e.g., disciplinary action, performance improvement plans, involuntary separations, etc.). Recommend and implement alternative courses of action. Plan, execute and advise leaders on transitions, layoffs, separations, and off-boarding. Advise leadership on applicable federal/state regulations and University Collected Rules and Regulations to improve policy literacy, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk. Identify and implement workflow changes and process improvements. Monitor, report on, and maintain accountability for HR metrics. Employee Experience Provide coaching to leaders to navigate team productivity challenges. Oversee annual performance review/appraisal process and facilitate calibration sessions. Train and communicate with employees and leaders on the performance review process. Implement effective orientation and training to continually strengthen competencies necessary to achieve the project team's goals. Build talent pipelines and manage knowledge-transfer planning for key ERP roles. Monitor workforce trends and sentiment through available institutional pulse and exit surveys. Coordinates and oversees local execution of employee engagement and recognition initiatives (e.g., climate survey results and intervention strategy, real-time recognition). Change Management Partner with ERP Change Management resources to identify employee impacts across campuses and business units. Support development of stakeholder engagement strategies. Assist in creating communications that support change adoption and employee understanding. Facilitate feedback sessions, listening activities, and readiness assessments. Monitor employee concerns and organizational barriers to adoption. Recommend mitigation strategies to improve workforce engagement and implementation success. As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities may be expected in order to support the mission and purpose of the ERP project, OHR, and the broader University of Missouri. Shift Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Exhibits a strong focus on customer service and ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across units and HR functions to drive business objectives. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, judgment, interpersonal, and management skills. Understands how to navigate complex employee populations and organizational systems, while taking a consultative approach to providing insights on how best to manage people-related needs. Demonstrates business acumen along with the ability to analyze, synthesize, and present information at the appropriate level for various stakeholder groups. Possesses advanced degree and/or certification(s) in job-related area. Knowledge of higher education or healthcare environments. Experience with organizational change management methodologies. Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement and readiness activities. Ability to analyze data and develop executive-level recommendations. Project management experience in a complex organizational environment.
