Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Lubbock, TX | Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Block Schedule Required

Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit maintaining expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2

Adhere to block scheduling requirements, including working 6 weekend days per contract period

Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Utilize EPIC (required — hard stop) for documentation and patient management

Complete all required facility modules prior to and during orientation as assigned

Active RN license — Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience

EPIC proficiency required (hard stop)

Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)

2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)

Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-designated hospital environment

Familiarity with block scheduling in a travel or contract nursing capacity

Flexibility to float to nearby sister facilities if operationally required

Work at a well-established Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with free onsite parking

48-hour weeks may be available, offering the potential for additional hours within your contract
