Occupational Therapist (OT) - Mobile Outpatient

Overview Join a team providing outpatient occupational therapy services in clients' homes or independent living facilities. This role involves evaluating and treating older adults, developing personalized rehabilitation programs, and promoting functional independence. Responsibilities Provide in-home occupational therapy assessments and interventions to improve cognitive, motor, sensory, and daily living skills. Supervise therapy assistants, students, or support personnel as applicable. Ensure timely documentation, adhere to treatment schedules, and participate in team meetings. Collaborate with physicians and other team members to tailor therapy plans. Order supplies, maintain equipment, and promote a safe environment. Design and modify treatment plans, develop adaptive devices, and train patients in their use. Evaluate patient progress, adjust interventions, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program. Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Valid, unencumbered state occupational therapy license. Reliable transportation or valid driver's license. #J-18808-Ljbffr
