This full-time position as a Co-Teacher focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in English—covering reading, writing, and comprehension—to high school students. The assignment runs from early August through late May, allowing for continuity and growth with your students throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License is required
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is mandatory
• Special Education licensure preferred
• Demonstrated experience co-teaching English Language Arts (reading, writing, comprehension) in either general education or special education settings
• Strong ability to adapt lessons and instruction for varied learning styles
• Effective communicator and enthusiastic team collaborator
• Committed to working onsite (remote options are not available for this position)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Co-teach designated high school English classes, supporting general and special education students
• Assist in lesson planning and classroom management
• Adapt curricular materials and assessments based on student needs
• Track student progress and provide targeted feedback
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain compliance with school and state requirements for documentation and reporting
