Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' needs, including psychosocial histories and identifying key risk factors.

• Provide direct counseling services to individuals, couples, and families addressing substance use and mental health issues.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and needs, ensuring regular updates based on progress.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups, fostering a safe space for clients to share experiences and strategies for recovery.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the Practitioner team to identify high-risk scenarios, employing de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention as needed.

• Engage in mandatory reporting procedures when necessary, ensuring compliance with state regulations and safeguarding policies.
\n
• Regularly inform Clinical Leads about new safeguarding risks and contribute to strategies aimed at mitigating these risks within the practice.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate outcomes focused on practice, soliciting client feedback to identify barriers to success and recommending changes as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients facing challenges with substance use and abuse, including adolescents, adults, and families who require integrated support services. The role will involve working with diverse populations across various backgrounds, fostering a culturally competent approach to care. Your work not only aids individual recovery but also helps families rebuild relationships and understand the dynamics of addiction.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is required.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.

• Thorough understanding of psychotherapeutic techniques, including experience in conducting suicide assessments, and other forensic evaluations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Familiarity with digital health records systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote client interactions.

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting that addresses both mental health and substance use issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
