As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a government aviation location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $25.25 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Sat: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM Requirements Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 1+ years of Airport Security Experience 21+ years of age Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office What You'll Do Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned airport facilities to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, restricted areas, and perimeter gates; verify credentials and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as directed. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools. Minimum Requirements A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
